The U.S. oilseeds and grains sector holds the largest value of exports to China at $18.5B.

It also supporting more than 170,000 American jobs across the country.

However, the next episode of Trump Tariffs could hit the industry hard.

China is the primary market for most U.S. agricultural products, such as soybeans, corn, beef, and pork.

In 2018, these goods were the first to face retaliatory tariffs. This led to a decline in both exports and related jobs, and to a widening trade deficit China.
