Top 10 Countries in Global Innovation Index (GII), 2024

The Global Innovation Index (GII) 2024, an annual report published by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), provides analysis of global innovation ecosystems. Switzerland, for the 14th consecutive year, holds the top position, reaffirming its excellence in Knowledge and Technology Outputs, intellectual property (IP) payments, and research collaborations. 

High-income economies like Switzerland, Sweden, and the United States are expected to maintain their leadership, while middle-income countries such as China, India, and Vietnam are increasingly asserting their presence through strategic investments in R&D, high-tech exports, and creative industries.
