India Has the Strongest Belief in Aliens Globally 🇮🇳

This graphic visualizes the results of an Ipsos poll that asked adults across 36 countries whether they thought aliens would visit Earth in 2023.

At opposite ends

India, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE had the highest share of respondents who believed an alien visit would be likely. 

Meanwhile, Japan had the lowest, with just 8% believing a visit was likely. These results are somewhat surprising, given the country’s strong technological advancements and fascination with futuristic themes in popular culture.
