When it comes to natural resources, who are the world's biggest importers and exporters? This chart maps each country’s total dollar ratio of imports to exports in thecategory of natural resource commodities. These include agricultural products, fertilizers, forestry products, fossil fuels, metals, minerals, pearls and gemstones. A country’s color will be more neutral the closer its ratio of imports to exports is one. Data is from 2020 and includes over 200 countries.
