The combined market capitalization of the top 10 U.S. banks—J.P. Morgan, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Charles Schwab, PNC Financial, U.S. Bancorp, Truist Financial, and Capital One—fell by 11.0% from January to March 2025. Among the five largest banks by market capitalization, Morgan Stanley (-15.6%) and Goldman Sachs (-15.2%) led the decline, followed by Bank of America (-10.7%), Wells Fargo (-10.0%), and J.P. Morgan (-8.9%).
