📈 U.S. Crude Oil Trade Balance (2024): 4.11 Mb/d Exports, 6.59 Mb/d Imports, 2.48 Mb/d Deficit

In November 2024, U.S. crude oil exports increased by 0.7% year-over-year (YoY) to an average of 4.11 million barrels per day (Mb/d), while imports rose by 1.5% to 6.59 Mb/d. As a result, the trade deficit widened by 3.0% to 2.48 Mb/d. In contrast, between 2004 and 2007, U.S. crude oil exports were nearly nonexistent, while imports averaged approximately 10.1 Mb/d.
