Global growth forecasts across most major economies have been downgraded since the January 2025 WEO Update, due to record-high tariffs and rising uncertainty.
Global growth is now projected at 2.8%, down from the IMF's 3.3% in January.
The U.S. was given the biggest downgrade among advanced economies.
U.S. economic growth is now expected to be 1.8% this year, down from an estimate of 2.7% in January.
